Posted by Todd Koenig on Thursday, March 14, 2013, In : Game recipes

These venison lettuce wraps rival any lettuce wraps found at all the popular restaurants.

You will need approximately a 1 1/2 pound venison roast.

Slice the roast thinly when it is partially frozen to get uniform slices.  Cut the roast roughly to these dimensions: ~1/4" thick x 1/2" wide x 2" long strips.

Marinade the meat in a resealable bag with the following ingredients:
1/2 cup soy sauce

Todd Koenig I have always had a great love for the outdoors. In fact, I can’t remember a time that I wasn’t hunting, fishing, trapping, or exploring the wilderness. From an early age, I enjoyed bringing my camera along for the perfect wildlife shot and putting those photograph’s together into a story. Having a degree in Biology and teaching a variety of science classes, sharing my outdoor knowledge comes very naturally to me. With encouragement from my family and friends, I now plan to pursue my passion for the outdoors with you! I hope that you enjoy the experience as much as I do. I live in central Minnesota with my wife and two young daughters, and yellow lab.
